SOUTH UKRAINIAN NATIONAL PEDAGOGICAL UNIVERSITY

One of the main tasks of the university’s internationalization was the provision of educational services to foreign nationals. During 2018 inaugural campaign, 280 foreigners were enrolled; 218 undergraduate and postgraduate students.

93 people were trained at the preparatory department. The total number of foreign students attending the university was 519.

Foreign nationals came to the university from 14 countries: Turkmenistan, China, Turkey, Ecuador, Iraq, Georgia, USA, Korea, Russia, Kazakhstan, Israel. The geography of participants in the educational process was expanded to countries such as Canada, Uzbekistan, and Azerbaijan.

Today, faculties include primary education, history and philosophy, arts and graphics, music and choreography, physics and mathematics, philology, foreign languages, preschool pedagogy and psychology, medicine, and social studies and humanities. Institutes include Postgraduate Education and Certification, and Physical Education, Sports and Rehabilitation.

The University is dedicated to provide quality education to the students evident from the fact that on May 19, 2017, the National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences of Ukraine was awarded an honorary diploma by the University staff for significant achievements in scientific and pedagogical activity, professional training of student youth and on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the foundation of the institution.

On July 19, 2017, the Ushinski University staff for outstanding achievements in the development of national education and science, significant achievements in the scientific and educational sphere, a significant contribution to the creation of spiritual values ​​and high professionalism were awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
