1.CHOOSE PROGRAM & UNIVERSITY
At Russian universities, you can study to join almost any profession currently in demand on the global market. Students have access to the most diverse choice of subjects, from mathematics and natural sciences to drama; 766 universities across 82 regions of the country from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok are ready to welcome you; you can study for a Bachelor’s, Specialist or Master’s Degree, a doctorate, professional training or career advancement, and also learn Russian.
2.FINANCE & SCHOLARSHIPS
The Russian government subsidizes the tuition fees by 80-90% for foreign medical students, which means they have to pay 10-20% of the actual cost of medical education. On an average an Indian student in Russia can complete MD (MBBS in India) with the average tuition fees ranging between 800,000 rupees and 1.1 million rupees.
The living expenses in Russia are relatively less as compared to that in other developed countries. Living in Moscow costs an estimated US$ 200 per month to foreign students.

3.APPLICATION LETTER
Once you have chosen the program and university, you can fill the application form online or with the university representative in your country.
The following documents are sent to the University to assess:
·Completed Application Form
·Valid Passport Copy (should be valid for at least 2 more years)
·Higher Secondary School Certificate (with subject details)
4.ADMISSION CONFIRMATION LETTER:
If the university accepts you on their program they will issue an Admission Confirmation Letter. You cannot apply for visa with the Admission confirmation letter.
5.INVITATION LETTER:
Invitations are issued by the Federal Migration Service and it takes 40-45 days from Russia.After receiving documents and payment the Original Invitation letter is sent by courier/Email.
To get an invitation letter from a University of Russia the following documents need to be sent:
·Filled Application Form
·Copy of International Passport (valid for 2 years minimum)
·Copy of School Certificate (with subject details)
·Cost of Invitation Letter 400 US$ and Courier charges 100 US$
6.TUITION FEES
It is advisable for the students to pay the tuition fees for the first year in full to increase the chances of gaining the Visa to Russia.
7.VISA
Once the original invitation letter is received, the student can apply for the visa from the nearest Russian Embassy or Consulate.
The following original documents are required to apply for visa:
·Filled Application
·Original Passport (valid for two years minimum)
·Higher Secondary School Certificate (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
·Aids/HIV test (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
·Official Invitation letter issued by Federal Migration Services of Russian Federation Receipt of the deposits made to the university towards the tuition fees
·Birth Certificate (attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
·8 passport size photos
·Return tickets valid for one year
8.ARRIVAL
Student has to transfer the complete first year expenses to university account before arrival to the Russian Federation. Before arrival student has to send us the payment receipt of complete first year expenses paid.
After getting visa from the Russian Embassy or Consulate, student should inform the university/Official Representative about his/her flight details with the date and arrival time.
One of our representatives will receive the student at the airport.
NOTE: In case student will not inform us about his/her arrival, he/she shall be deported back to homeland by the Immigration Authorities of Russia
9.ADMISSIONS
Every student should bring with him/her original complete set of documents and Payment Receipt of complete first year expenses paid.
It is compulsory for every student to be registered at University in three working days after arrival in the Russian Federation.
After arrival in Russia, student should submit the complete documents to International Department. Staff of International Department will complete the admission process and the registration process and after that the student will be allowed to start the classes.

- Educational certificates (legalized with Apostille stamp or by Russian Embassy),
- HIV-AIDS negative test certificate for Russia (legalized with Apostille stamp or by Russian Embassy)
- Medical Certificate confirming physical & Mental fitness for Ukraine (legalized with Apostille stamp or by Ukrainian Embassy)
- Birth certificate (legalized with Apostille stamp or by Ukrainian Embassy)
- passport size photos 3.5 x 4.5
- Return ticket valid for one year
WHY RUSSIA?
According to the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Russia has the most educated population in the world, outperforming Canada, Japan, Israel and the USA. More than half of Russians have higher education qualification. More than 200,000 people from 168 countries come to study at Russian universities.
In Russia, international applicants can choose from: 766 universities in 82 regions of the country, from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok; 205 fields, from mathematics and natural sciences to the dramatic arts; 657 subjects in Bachelor’s, Master’s, Specialist and Postgraduate Programmes (medical traineeships, postgraduate military courses), and internships and assistantships.
Russian universities are evolving rapidly. Over the recent years, the number of Russian higher education institutions in world education rankings has increased considerably. Top universities in Russia are present in prestigious QS, THE and ARWU rankings.
Affordable tuition is among the key advantages of Russian higher education. The average tuition fee at Russian universities is 136,333 rubles ($2,097) a year.
A broad range of majors is another advantage of studying in Russia. You can be trained for nearly every profession. Universities offer applicants more than 200 fields of study, from mathematical sciences to design, and more than 650 majors at different education levels.
Prospective international students have been traditionally interested in medical majors which accounted for 20 percent of all foreign nationals in 2016/2017
There are around 50 medical universities and colleges in Russia which operate under the aegis of the Ministry of Public Health of the Russian Federation, and the degrees offered by them are globally recognized by the WHO and the UNESCO.
Russia is one of the few countries to offer foreign citizens the opportunity to receive free tuition. Every year, the Russian government awards several thousand scholarships (quotas) to international students. For example, in 2019 universities were allocated 15,000 quotas
In 2003, Russia signed the Bologna Declaration, assuming several obligations as part of the creation of a common educational space of participant countries. Diplomas of Russian universities are recognised in most countries. This procedure is facilitated by intergovernmental agreements of Russia with more than 60 countries, including Finland, Spain, Cuba, India, Vietnam, China, Venezuela, France,Cyprus and Malta and with Uzbekistan
Many Russian universities are implementing joint programmes with foreign universities and are issuing dual diplomas to their graduates. In other words, by studying in Russia you can receive a Russian diploma and a diploma from a European university.
Most people associate Russia with its culture, and Russians rightly take enormous pride in it. Russia has given the world many great writers, poets, philosophers, composers, artists and musicians. Russian cities today are centres of cultural life, where exhibitions, festivals, concerts, shows, performances and other cultural and entertainment events take place on a national and international level.

Russia boasts of 766 Universities of which 29 are National Research Universities, 10 Federal Universities.
The tuition fee at Russian universities varies from RUB 121,000 to 770,000 (USD 1,860-11,846) per year depending on the region, university, and discipline.
The students who are admitted to state-funded places on a competitive basis or who are awarded a government scholarship (quotas) study free-of-charge. Those students receive an allowance (the average monthly allowance in 2018 is RUB 1,484/USD 22, for postgraduate students it is RUB 2,921/USD 44).
A student in Russia needs USD 300 to 400 per month on average or USD 3,000 to 4,000 per academic year (September to June).
