1. ABOUT US

I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University is the first and the oldest medical school in Russia tracing its history from the medical faculty of Moscow Imperial University founded in 1758.

The history of Sechenov University is tightly connected with the history of medical education and healthcare in Russia. The University is a cradle of most national medical schools and scientific medical societies, first medical journals, guidebooks and manuals.

Sechenov University today boasts of 19,030 students from 83 countries studying 226 educational programs in 11 study areas. It is proud to have 15 research institutes of Biomedical Science and Technology Park. It has 9 faculties with 2148 Faculty Members.

2. REQUIREMENTS

I. REQUIREMENTS FOR UNDERGRADUATE MEDICINE PROGRAMS:

For admission in medical related courses, students must have studied the following subject with other subjects at school.

– Biology;

– Chemistry;

– Physics.

We don’t require any specific marks or grades in above subjects for admission. We accept students with all passing grades or marks for admission at First Moscow State Medical University, Moscow, Russia.

II. REQUIREMENTS FOR MEDICAL POSTGRADUATE / CLINICAL RESIDENCY PROGRAMS:

For PG / Clinical Residency courses:

– Mbbs / MD / BDS degree with transcripts

For Medical Ph.D / Doctorate Degree:

– Mbbs / MD / BDS degree with transcripts

– Certificate of completion of Intersnship

– Certificate of completion of Residency or Postgraduate Medical Education
