Foundation Programme
IELTS : 6.0 overall, minimum 5.5 in writing and 5.0 in any band
UAE : Successful completion of Tawjihiyya with grade average of 85% with 85% in relevant subjects

General Requirement:
- International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma or British A-Levels
 
- High marks in the Tawjihiyya (General Secondary Education Certificate) combined with a successfully completed appropriate foundation/bridging programme
 
- Completed one year of a UAE degree

Postgraduate Programme
Academic Requirement:
An undergraduate (Bachelor) degree that is equivalent to a UK Upper Second Class degree (also known as a 2:1).
- Candidates holding a Bachelor (Honours) degree will be considered for Masters programmes.
 
- Candidates holding a Masters will be considered for PhD study.
 
English Requirement:
IELTS : 6.5 – 7.0 (depending upon the course)
 
 
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma
- Applicants who have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma with a minimum overall score (depending upon the course and university), and passes in a minimum of 6 subjects including at least three courses at the Higher Level.
 
- Applicants who are also completing a provincial or national high school program have the option of being considered for admission on the basis of the high school program.
 
 
 
Research Programme
Candidates wishing to be considered for research at Bristol must have a first class pass in their Indian Bachelor degree and some research experience. It may also be advantageous to have completed a Masters degree with research elements.
