In 1991 the University was granted the Queen’s Award for Export Achievement, and in 1997 it was awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher & Further Education in recognition of the University’s outstanding achievement in satellite engineering and communications, teaching and research by the Centre for Satellite Engineering and its associated companies. In 1998 Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) was awarded the Queen’s Award for Technological Achievement.

Our striking, modern campus has seen significant development in recent years and our Manor Park site is home to the multi-million pound Surrey Sports Park providing a world-class sporting facility for our staff, students, and the local community. One of the most significant site developments by the University has been the Surrey Research Park, which currently accommodates over 100 companies employing 2,500 staff engaged in research and development activities, many of which relate closely to the work of the University’s own Faculties.

Located at Guildford, University of Surrey is just 40 minutes to London Waterloo by train and has close proximity to the major airports. The beautiful, landscaped grounds of the University campus are an ideal place to study, relax and socialise in. Safe and secure, the campus is home to 12,000 students and around 3000 staff, who all play a role in creating a friendly, close-knit and cosmopolitan community.

ICSE/CBSE/Maharastra – 80% average in year 12 with no less than 80% in the required subject
West Bengal – 70% average in year 12 with no less than 70% in the required subject
Other boards – 85% average in year 12 with no less than 85% in the required subject

Postgraduate Course

Degree 2:1 – 60% -75%
Degree 2:2 – 55%-60%
English Language Requirement
Standard XII : 70%

UAE

Foundation Course

Tawijihiya board : 80% or above in the year 12
Tawijihiya board : 80% or above in the year 12

Undergraduate Course

Students with Qualification equivalent to the 12th year from Tawijihiya board will require a Foundation Degree from a recognized university.
Students studying A level, IB or equivalent will be accepted in the year 1 of the bachelors degree.
Students studying A level, IB or equivalent will be accepted in the year 1 of the bachelors degree.

Postgraduate Course

For a subject requiring a 2:1 – 3.0 GPA
For a subject requiring a 2:2 – 2.5 GPA

English Language Requirement
IELTS is typically 6.5 (normally with no less than 6 in Reading and Writing)
